Wow! After two weeks of qualifiers week one is finally underway! I would again like to congratulate the following teams for qualifying for IWL:
myK
CoB
FinH
TI
These teams battled through 16 teams to get into the top four spots so kudos to you Week one is starting this week and I apologize for my late posting today I had to do a lot of updates to team profiles and talk to numerous teams for replacing BvG. x6 got the spot and our teams are finally solidified. Having gone through two weeks of the qualifiers I found myself doing everything alone so I will AGAIN ask for some administrative volunteering. We could use it big time here at IWL and all help will be appreciated. I would also like to thank all the invited teams for waiting patiently for the league to start and it's finally starting! | Qualifier Week Two | Mon Jun 22, 2009 2:55 pm by IWL]Honey |
Good evening everyone I would like to thank you all for having qualifier week one go by smoothly. Everything went pretty solid and things turned out well. The one main problem I had with week one was wildcarding matches. I hadn't thought through this clearly I guess but since we have wildcarded matches still on the table it will delay the time that teams have to schedule with eachother since the clan wars arent completed. Having said that there will be no more WildCards in the qualifier. There will still be SubCards but no more WildCards. The matches from last week must be played before tuesday at 23:59 EST or both teams will receive 1.5 PP. That might seem harsh but we need to get these series' done so we can move on with the week. Having said all of that, here is this weeks matches:
CoB vs ZeL - June 28th at 14:00 EST // 20:00 CET
myK vs HooP - June 28th at 14:00 EST // 20:00 CET
rG.GFC vs FinH - June 26th at 14:00 EST // 20:00 CET
vT vs TI - June 27th at 14:00 EST // 20:00 CET
Solo Map Pool:
Twisted Meadows
Turtle Rock
Lost Temple(RoC)
Melting Valley
2v2 Map:
Gnoll Wood
Reminders:
-Send in lineup 30 minutes before your war begins
-THERE ARE NO WILDCARDS THIS WEEK
-Make sure you include races in your lineup
-Use the scheduling board this week
-Have nice, fun, and mannered wars
Notes:
Congratulations to FinH for qualifying!
Congratulations to TI for qualifying!
Congratulations to myK for qualifying!
Congratulations to CoB for qualifying!

| Qualifier Commences! | Sun Jun 14, 2009 10:30 am by IWL]Honey |
Here we are at Qualifiers Week 1! After looking at all of the applications I have to say I was shocked by how many people cannot follow directions xD. That was the main reasons your teams were declined and not taken seriously. So for all the leagues you apply for just make sure you do a good application and follow directions. Some didn't even comment I thought it was really funny. But anyways, the true meaning of the post was to kick off week 1 of qualifiers and announce the seedings.
Seeds:
1. CoB
2. sfto
3. rG.GFC
4. vT
5. TI
6. FinH
7. myK
8. zL
9. cGz
10. LaG
11. SFoS
12. DreamS
13. nG
14. GFO.gQg
15. HooP
16. deL
Week one will begin tomorrow and only four teams will make it into the main league. Yes only four teams so take every war you have in the qualifier seriously. I have decided that I'm not going to do double elimination. Some of you may think that's stupid but I dont think anyone should have a second chance in this league. Also for this league replay posting will not be necessary, although I encourage you to save all replays incase there was BM or hack suspected. I am confident that we will have an admin at every war but there might be a few where an admin isnt available and if that happens just post your result on the battle report. Lets start this week off strong and here are this weeks matches:
CoB vs deL - June 20th 14:00 EST // 20:00 CET
sfto vs Hoop - June 20th 13:00 EST // 19:00 CET
rG. GFC vs GFO.gQg - June 18th 12:00 EST // 18:00 CET
vT vs nG - June 21st 22:00 EST // 04:00 CET(June 22nd)
TI vs DreamS - June 19th 12:00 EST // 18:00 CET
FinH vs SFoS - June 18th 12:00 EST // 18:00 CET
myK vs LaG - June 21st 15:00 EST // 21:00 CET
zL vs cGz - June 21st 15:00 EST // 21:00 CET
Keep in mind all PP's earned in the qualifier WILL carry on over to the league season. I encourage everyone to use the scheduling board and make sure you confirm your time on the scheduling board not in the email. Make sure you send your lineup to IWLeague@live.com 30 minutes before your war with the races and players designated clearly on each map.
The Map Pool for this week is:
Road to Stratholme
Echo Isles
Secret Valley
Terenas Stand
2v2 Map: Twisted Meadows

Hello again everyone I'm here to let you all know that applications for the qualifiers are OPEN. We are now accepting all applications for the qualifier.
In order to apply for the qualifier you need to do the following steps:
1. Create and account with your tag and nickname for example: IWL]Honey. IWL is my tag, Honey is my nickname.
2. Create a team profile following the format provided in the Qualifier Information topic.
3. Add JuMP35@live.com to your MSN contact list so I can easily contact everyone.
4. Lastly, comment in this post alerting me that you have sent in your application.
5. If you cant do your application right, how am I supposed to think you can run a league team right. I will not accept any crappy applications so make sure you do them the way WE want it or dont do it at all. This includes the races and countries being flagged. Do not just type the country put the flag for it.
The qualifier will be a 16-team qualifier with a winners and a losers bracket. The finalists of both brackets will be automatically qualified for the league.
There will be four weeks of qualifiers and the first week will start Monday June 15th. We will be accepting qualifier applications until 11:59PM EST on Saturday June 13th. We will release the list of accepted teams around Sunday at 5pm EST or possibly sooner. You may also edit your team profiles until Sunday June 14th at 11:59pm EST and after that you will be forced to wait a week until you can play the added player(s).
We have already found our 12 invited teams and they are posted in the top right of your screen. I must remind you again, the teams in the selected divisions ARE NOT GUARANTEED to be in that division in the league. In fact, the spots they are in now is completely random. It is just there to show you which teams have been invited and confirmed.
So what are you waiting for? Send those applications in!

| New League : International Warcraft League (IWL) | Fri Jun 05, 2009 2:05 pm by IWL]Honey |
Hey guys I come to everyone with great news today. I am opening an invite league with 16 teams and two divisions. I made this decision because I have been an admin for leagues for awhile now and I feel I'm ready to take on one of my own. This is going to be a 7 week league filled with fun and success. It will be very similar to the old PGS but with a different style, the old WC3L. For season one we will hold qualifiers for 4 teams and do the math that's 12 teams invited. I'm really excited to get this league up and running and I'm trying my hardest to keep things moving as fast as possible.
I do send my apologies for the website. I have asked Dronzer if I could take over the PGS website and he said I could under one circumstance: That I leave all the Battle Reports and scheduling posts on the site. I thought it would be worth it and eventually all of that will go away. So bare with me while everything PGS-Involved is here and soon we will be a complete IWL website(hopefully with a new URL ).
We're also looking for admins of course! A new league can take anyone we can get so please, get me on MSN at Jump35@live.com or email me at Wc3Jump@gmail.com with your contact information and past experience. We will take all the help we can get!
I saved the best news for last, I am working on getting some prize money for this season. No promises are being made but I AM working on it so stay tuned for that bit of information!
IWL]Honey
P.S. I should also mention that the standings at the right side of your screen arent correct. The teams in those divisions are not going to be the official divisions they will be changed. That is there just to let people know which teams will be in the league.

| EGL Finale | Mon May 18, 2009 5:15 am by Dronzer |
It has all finally come down to this. First our last season's winner iG failed to claim that Final's spot by getting knocked out by myR, one of the best competitor this season claiming 2nd place during season with 13 points. myR started out with a solid 3-0 claimed by Gh0zt, defeated by MyWa when he was jokered. MyWa started to have a good lead for iG letting off a 2-0 then finally myR's Energize put MyWa to his grave myR claiming 4-2 Victory. In the other hand our best season competitor aRi that has claimed 1st place in season with 15 points has been also knocked out by there rival team KoD (They both get tired going against each other in almost every single league they are in together) KoD's player Boo murdering the Koreans taking 3 points, losing to god Kei, finally Axslav (Lately known as the Korean murderer, killer, etc after aking A1 at NGL 3on3) putting Kei down with his Army. Now it comes all down to this. EGL Season 4 Finale. myR Vs KoD. Will myR's imba Players like Gh0zt and Energize lead myR to victory? Or will the best Team KoD defeat the team with Legendary players like Axslav and Boo. Find out. In EGL Finale!

Bracket not ready yet.

| Warcraft Gaming League Season V Qualifiers Information | Wed May 13, 2009 1:04 am by Dronzer |
Here we go! With the WGS back alive again, for those who are curious why WGL is Season 5 instead of Season 4 is because remember that EGL is basically WGL now. Since EGL was at Season 4 with auto-qualified teams for season qualifiers etc now it's Season 5. If you still don't get why WGL is at Season 5, just deal with it . Now to the main point. At the moment as everyone know EGL is still in the play-offs at Semi-Finals. We were originally going to start Application on June 1st, but we decided to move that up by few weeks since it is high on demands. As you can see WGL usually has 5/10 slots available through qualifiers, but we will only have 4 slots available through qualifiers. The qualifier brackets are already up (the teams are still from past season, o well we'll fill those in at qualifiers time). There are already 4 auto-qualified to this qualifiers. They are (In seedings)
1. Stofftiere-Online.wc3
2. Infernal Cry
3. Koxx eSports
4. Vision + Ventrlio = Victory
Also the teams auto-qualified into the WGL Season V is
aRirang
Keeper of Destruction
Infernal Gamers
myRevenge
Never Get Pro
Never Give Up
Basically since there is only 4 slots left on the season, when you look at the qualifier bracket just cross out Round 6, then it is basically 2 teams from Winner's Bracket and 2 from the Loser's Bracket . Now to the real main point. The application. We will not accept any crappy incomplete application, if you won't fill out the application the way WE want it then we will not even bother considering your application because we do not want to waste our time. To apply for WGL you must create a team (if your the manager) and complete every little single detail (Your roster, accomplishments, ggc on each player's profile, etc). Before you apply for WGL you must complete your roster and your accomplishments, site, other details etc. We only take 1 good look at your application so you must have all this completed. Do not even apply until you finish your whole team profile. Once you think you have done it all copy the following code and paste it on to a email and send it to WGSeries@live.com, our temporary email address.
[code:1:8a60]
Team Name:
Team Profile URL:
Team Number:
Currently Leagues: (If you didn't add it to your Team Profile)
Recent 5 or more Results: ex: myTeam Vs uTeam 3-2
[/code:1:8a60]
We will start accepting application starting, May 14th Thursday 00:00:00 EST and we will close all application on June 4th Thursday which is a good amount of time (3 Weeks). We will only accept 12 teams to qualifiers (+4 auto qualified qualifier teams = 16). The 16 Teams will fight for 4 slots into the season. We will have a updated list of applicants soon.
Prize: TBA
*note that some of these might change so keep in watch
